The 2020 TM Best Practices took place in Shanghai, on August 5th, 2020. 

Congratulations to all the winners!

On 2020 August 5th, the 2020 Talent Management Best Practice Awards Ceremony was held at the Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai, and was hosted by representatives from aTalent, Cornerstone OnDemand, Saba, HRFlag, and emLyon Business School.

The Award committee had received more than 180 applications for nearly 200 projects. Applied enterprises were from more than 13 countries/regions, covering 16 industries, including manufacturing, communication, pharmaceutical, software manufacturing, hotel and recreation, insurance, entertainment, education, technology industry, service, financial automobile, construction industry, Internet industry, consulting industry and FMCG.

Nearly 90% of them were from G20 countries and 47% from Fortune-500 companies. Over 30% of applied companies have 25,000+ employees and 47% of them have 10,000-25,000 employees.

aTalent’s VP Wengang He opened the ceremony introducing what talent management really means in an era hit by a global pandemic. Then, Kartik Krishnamurthy, from Cornerstone OnDemand, and Anson Tang, from the emLyon Business School, took on the stage to deliver insightful speeches on the development of new talent-friendly technologies and the future of human resource solutions.

In total, more than 40 HRDs and VPs from major companies attended the ceremony and its appreciation dinner to spark new trends in the talent management industry.

With the progression of the talent economy era, enterprises realize that talent management is becoming the core competitiveness of enterprises. What are the 2020 Talent Management
Best Practices Awards?

aTalent, SABA, Cornerstone OnDemand, HRflag, PR Newswire, and emLyon Business School are jointly launching the 2020 Greater China Talent Management Best Practices Awards, which aims to promote the development and transformation of talent management.

Many companies have updated and upgraded the concept of talent management and organization management, putting the application of digital management and improvement of talent experience at the forefront of the industry transformation.

  1. Please fill out the application form

    (one submission per category, up to 2 categories max).
  3. After the submission of the application form is completed, the organizer will conduct a preliminary screening of your forms.
  4. An international jury will then review each submission and proceed to the voting and selection of the award winners

The Cost & Payment

The award application is entirely free. No hidden cost.

The Entry Rules

You can enter any talent management-related project that has been launched after 1 January 1st, 2018 or rather by June 1st, 2020 and cannot be more than two years old as of the date of application.

Each company can submit up to two award applications. A separate application form must be submitted for each entry.

You can enter a project in several categories at the same time. You must complete a separate registration for each entry and if necessary, add a link/URL to further introduce the material for each entry.

No, your project does not have to be high-tech or A.I. related. Yet, we encourage applications to include and/either creative, innovative, digital-friendly, transforming outputs.

On-going project applications are permitted provided that the project will be brought to market/live environment by June 1st, 2020.

To complete your application, you must enter general details on the respective project, details on the project uniqueness, success and  KPIs. Furthermore, we encourage applicants to add a project link/URL, so that our panel can experience/visualize the achievements. Optionally, and if you judge that a link wouldn’t be sufficient to demonstrate quality and uniqueness, additional materials and files can be directly submitted to award@atalent.com, together with your company name, and award category.

The Selection Process & Criteria

The projects participating in the selection will be independently evaluated and selected for their practical benefits and creative value. The judging committee will comprehensively evaluate the selected projects according to four dimensions: Strategic dimension, Experience dimension, Innovation dimension, and Brand dimension.

Strategic dimension

The company has made remarkable achievements in the field of human resources management, which has a positive effect on the overall development of the company, corporate performance and strategy formulation.

Experience dimension

The company has a perfect talent training system, with employee experience as the core, and has a clear and efficient training and management system, which enables personal goals align with the company’s strategy.

Innovation dimension

In the field of talent management, company has significant value in the successful application of innovative artificial intelligence, data analysis or cloud technology, which meets the “Smart” enterprise standards.
