About the Role
aTalent is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead our efforts in generating new business opportunities. This remote role, ideally based in Malaysia and focusing on the Southeast Asian market, involves strategic prospecting, leveraging both inbound and outbound methodologies to attract potential clients within designated territories. Ideal candidates will have a robust track record in sales, excellent organizational skills to handle extensive outreach activities, and a strong aspiration to grow within sales and marketing fields.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities through detailed research and strategic analysis.
- Engage with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to transform interest into actionable sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies and meet prospecting goals.
- Achieve and surpass goals for generating new business leads and opportunities.
- Uphold strict standards regarding privacy and data security in all communications.

Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong initiative and ability to achieve results with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communicative abilities, adept in negotiation and persuasion. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; ability to speak Chinese is a significant plus.
